Overview
The D-18’s were work horses for the most discerning musicians. The projection of the mahogany body easily outshine’s most other woods and guitars. With crisp contrast and good volume, this stirling bird SINGS. This is one CANNON of a guitar. It has all the spacial qualities that one seeks in an aged instrument and more. A favourite amongst artists who have visited our shop.
Standing as one of the original dreadnoughts the D-18 has been winning over the hearts of players since the early 1930's. Everybody from Elvis to David Crosby, the D-18 has been in hands of iconic players for decades. Similar to the D-28 in construction (minus the rosewood) this D-18 sounds incredibly warm and loud compared to many other dreadnought sized guitars.
