The Silk Road has got to be one of the most breathtaking and striking guitar, aesthetically and musically. The contrast of pure snowy white flamed Maple accented by dark-chocolatey Wenge bindings is a feast for the eyes.
The tonal quality of Maple is just as sweet and clear as one would expect of these tonewood. Right off the bat, this guitar just sings and serenades during the very first time we played it.
Unlike most guitars that need a breaking-in period, it seems to have the presence and maturity of a seasoned masterpiece. There's something really special about it's "Ebony & Ivory" demeanour. A guitar that is clear as day and it's performance when it is first conceived.
