Overview
The ES-350 was introduced in 1947 as a cutaway version of the ES-300. Originally this guitar featured a single P-90 pickup and a trapeze tailpiece. A second P-90 was added in 1948, and a switch to a Tune-o-matic bridge was made in 1956.
The combination of 25.25" scale, deep body, P-90 with volume and tone for each and three way switch is a winning recipe. The neck is a perfect large round shape that fills up your hand so nicely. Original frets are full height and in great shape. Neck is straight and it plays beautifully anywhere on the fingerboard. All original except for a replaced ebony bridge top which looks to have been on here a long time. This guitar nails the Merle Travis sound from the 1950s and of course you can play Chuck Berry licks on it all day long.
