Overview
The LG series has always been a popular amongst many great artistes including The King, Elvis Presley whom can be seen in his many recorded performances. This fine example is owned and used by Canadian/American Songwriter/Musician Ana Egge and comes with an Anthem electronics. With it's compact size and rarer Cherry burst finish these guitar is the complete accompaniment for your next stage performance!
This Gibson LG-1 was Gibson's budget flat top in the early 1950's, essentially the same as the LG-2 but with simpler ladder-bracing under the top instead of the more elaborate X-pattern. The materials and cosmetics are exactly the same, the only way to tell the difference is to peer into the back edge of the soundhole! The sound is usually somewhat brighter and less sophisticated, with something like a mix of Gibson and Stella characteristics.
