Mervyn Davis is a professional luthier from South Africa who has been building guitars since 1978. Many of his works are unique and experimental. One of his experimental instruments started in 1989, which resulted in a very unique instrument called the SmoothTalker, which is available in our store. It is somewhat of a cross between a guitar and a banjo, which produces a very interesting sound.
